• When you get the lighter, make sure you remove the foam from the box and grab the charging cable.  It is a Micro USB cable if you forget, you probably already own one.

  • When you receive the lighter, the battery should be fully charged, but you will need to load it with butane.  We cannot ship lighters with butane.

  • To load butane, you will need a high-quality butane refill tank.  Make sure the butane has a plastic fill tip. Metal tips do not seem to work well. You can search on Amazon for ‘butane’ or get one for sale at a local lounge.  The stem of the tank fits in the refill port at the bottom of the lighter.  The first time you load the lighter, you shouldn’t need to bleed it, but after that, you want to bleed your lighter every time you fill it.  You can use a bleeder tool, or a small screwdriver to press down on the fill valve on the lighter, or you can just open the lighter and it will empty itself.  When you no longer hear the hissing of butane escaping, you will know it is ready to refill.

  • The battery in the lighter should last a few months.  You can see how charged it is by the LED lights on the side of the lighter.  When it is ready to recharge, use the cable in the bottom of the box and it should fully charge in 5-10 minutes (all 4 LED lights will be illuminated).
